Top NCAA College Football Games in Review

Texas A&M (19) vs Arkansas (8)

The Southwest Classic always produces amazing games with high level finishes and this one stayed on that trend line as the Texas A&M Aggies upset the Arkansas Razorbacks who missed the go-ahead field goal which would have given them the lead with under 2 minutes left in the game. Early on, Arkansas was in control, but after some interesting play calling and the inability to move the ball and add in a crucial fumble at the 3-yard line all flipped the script and it was A&M the rest of the way.

Texas A&M won 23-21

Texas (24) @ Texas Tech

As I predicted this game was going to be a thriller. Texas Tech had lost 6 straight at home to the Longhorns but this season the Red Raiders hit a game winning field goal in OT to snap the streak. As expected, the fans stormed the field to show the hatred they have for Texas. After this it will be interesting to see how Texas gets back on track after losing all the hype that they had after keeping it close in Week 2 against Alabama.

Texas Tech won 37-34

Clemson (6) @ Wake Forest (15)

This game was a shootout between two elite programs in the ACC that are fighting for a conference championship. Clemson went on the road to Wake Forest and did not get overwhelmed. The offense on both sides was amazing to watch. Wake Forest forced overtime against the Tigers but fell short in the second overtime after forcing a pass to the end zone on 4th and 6.

Clemson won 51-45

Florida @ Tennessee (11)

Florida put up a fight at Tennessee but fell just short after failing to score on the final drive of the game. This was a game full of momentum swings and high energy plays every moment on the field. The Tennessee fanbase definitely helped put the Vols over the top to beat the Gators on Rocky Top.

Tennessee won 38-33
